Acctive Systems have been working in partnership with Panasonic concerning the integration of Panasonic’s "I Pro WJ ND400” network recorder, ( http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/1005679/index.html)  connected to 31 IP cameras and Honeywell’s "Galaxy Dimension” intruder panel. This has recently been installed at a leading British aerospace engineering company’s facility.

The system is fully operational and sends both CCTV and Intruder information to a remote monitoring centre.

Whenever the Galaxy intruder panel goes into an alarm mode  from a 24 hour zone or an intruder activation, the Panasonic Alarm Monitoring software (PAM) interprets the Galaxy RS232 strings and sends a command alarm to the "WJ ND400”  recorder to activate preset positions for the cameras and automatically connect to the monitoring centre.

The site is using Panasonic’s ASM100 software via a triple graphic card PC with mapping. This gives the operators access to  instant notification of the alarm condition on the maps, live window and main GUI providing them with an identification and quick playback function any activity.   

This type of integration has never been implemented anywhere in the world before between Panasonic IPro equipment and Honeywell’s Galaxy G3 series of panels.
